A response to THE CALL

Well done all those (like Evie) making the long trek down to Sydney to prey for that nations- something that will benifit us all. BY joining in the prayer and fast we can become of one heart with the thousands who have wholy devoted themselves to serving the lord. Psalm 24 describes them well. “ Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in this holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart., who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false……SUCH IS THE GENERATION OF THOSE WHO SEEK HIM! ( v 3-6)

In 1 Chronicles 22: 5, David nearing the end of his life, made this statement concerning his son Solomon “ My son Solomon is young and experienced and the house to be built for the Lord should be of great magnificence……… Therefore I will make extensive preparations for it”.

For those of us who can not make it to Sydney this does not have to mean we have missed the boat. Mathew 6:6 encourages us to prey to our father in our secret place and he will reward us openly. There is not any reason we should hesitate to prey for those attending the Call, and for the priorities of the call as expressed at www.thecallaustralia.com

THE CALL is a massive united solemn assembly.
At every critical turning point in the Old Testament, we see a call to the nation of Israel for prayer and fasting. THE CALL is a response to the urgent summons in Joel 2:15-18, given at a time of crisis. “Declare a holy fast…Call a sacred assembly…bring together the elders, gather the children.”

1 . Pray for the Holy Revolution to grow among the youth of Australia. “Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart” Ps 24:3,4

2. Pray for all the Youth Prayer Ministries (like Youth Arise, 24/7, Now Generation, See You at The Pole)& Meetings that are happening around Australia. Pray for increase in their spiritual passion and more groups all over Australia

3. Pray for the Revolution to spread to youth that are not on fire for God and that there would be a holy revolution in their lives

THE CALL brings together three generations to fast, repent, worship and pray.
Each day also includes inspirational speakers, and lasts for 12 hours. Although The Call lasts one day, it seeks to raise the water level of prayer and spark sustained prayer individually and corporately.

THE CALL is trans-generational, multi-racial and cross-denominational.
People of all ages, races, ethnic groups, political affiliations, social backgrounds and Judeo/Christian religious associations attend.

THE CALL is rooted in love.
At the heart of The Call is love for God and for all people and the desire to see God move to restore the foundations of Christian faith and revive the nations.

THE CALL endeavors to bring Glory to God and not to man.
The Call participants are not publicized. Those leading desire to remain nameless and faceless outside the context of the meetings.

THE CALL is about reconciliation.

As we are individually and corporately reconciled to God, we will see reconciliation between generations. We believe that in order for America to experience revival, we must see the fulfillment of Malachi 4:6—God turning “the hearts of the fathers to their children and turn the hearts of the children to their fathers.”

Between races and ethnic groups . God’s house is a house of prayer for all nations (Mk: 11-17) and He “has made of one blood all nations…” We are all “the offspring of God” (see Acts 17:26-29, KJV) and will gather before his throne in worship. (Rev. 7:9)

Between men and women

The Call embraces the gifts and callings of each and affirms the intrinsic value and worth of each. “In Christ there is no male or female.” (Galatians 3:28)


THE CALL is a response to the groundswell of desperation in today’s youth.

Youth are in trouble and morality is declining. Our youth are facing their darkest hour. A whole generation is under satanic attack, resulting in a cry for the Jesus of the Bible. Youth are turning to Christ, making a radical commitment to confront the culture and change their world.

THE CALL is not political and does not endorse any political party.
Even though this is not a political event, we will be praying for political, educational and spiritual leaders, as directed in 1 Timothy: 1-2.

THE CALL is about cultural transformation. The result of fasting, praying and true repentance is changed lives and an outpouring of God’s grace resulting in cultural transformation.

THE CALL is an opportunity to covenant with God. Each local, regional or national Call has it’s own covenant, which participants have the opportunity to proclaim. (Archived covenants available at thecallrevolution.com.)

THE CALL is people committed to God’s purposes.
Together, we are responding to a call we have heard from God to believe and fight for spiritual revolution (i.e. evangelism, missions and national transformation).

THE CALL is for such a time as this.


We believe that now is the season for mature Christians to demonstrate God’s love to youth, serving them and praying for them, communicating hope and purpose. It is the time for a massive youth revolution of prayer and consecration and another wave of young missionaries—first to schools, then to the nations, Now is the time to call our youth to a walk of intimacy and righteousness with their God.


“If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
